nice!

My RRBBO7 bike was sort of a tribute bike. The name Grumpy's Speed Shop came from my favorite drag racer as a kid. Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins who passed away last year. I decided to use "grumpy" on the tank to pay respects.

Yea I liked Grumpy too. I shot photos of NHRA for a bit..love that sport. Great bike you built. It's nice to be on the calendar with you..i built the green bike with the Gremlin that is on December

Not really into theme or tribute stuff but almost all my builds are loosely based on something that has caught my eye over the years.
Isky inspired(thus "La Cucaracha"):

Junkers Ju 88 inspired(thus "Iron Annie" well also Udet's colors from one of his Albatros from ww1):

and from "the maddest story ever told" or Spider Baby(my kids "SpiderBaby" ):

Karfer67's "Higgins" inspired:

Unfortunately it looked almost exactly like his "Lucky 7" build. :oops:
