It's taken me almost a week to vote. Too much to process and a little worn down after this build off. It's pretty much decided who the favorites are and those bikes deserve all the votes they get. I for one like the more obscure out of the box style and there were also alot of those. Looking at all the different ways to get to the same place is amazing. Everyone goes home with a winning bike to ride and be so proud of. I'm proud to cast my vote for three builds that I liked from the gitgo although not in any order, they all three have features I like equally but different. The three builds that made me keep going back to look again and again are C Puff, Blue X and Monkey Panic. Outstanding!

Man its gonna be a fight thats for sure... at least for first and second..

How did I get to 7 votes? I only had 1 when I was here last. Thanks guys. All this talk of rat stuff makes me cringe. In the traditional car rod and custom world a rat rod is a slapped together hunk of junk that is unsafe at any speed. But a real traditional can be rusty but it will still be well built, fast and cool. I think we have a lot of cool hot rod and custom bikes right here! As for mine, it is tame style, cuz it was a specific theme for my wife. But I still built it with stuff I had or could aquire cheap or free, and tried to make sure they all looked right together. I was gonna add the little tank from the Western Flyer convertable, but I didn't want to change its NOS paint to fit this bike so it looked out of place. I'm sure everyone ended up making changes to their original plan.

Well, I have other bikes waiting for the next build off. Which one depends on the next set of rules. Anything goes, unchanged frame, multispeed only, pink only, 20" only, ?????????????????? Will we have a set vision to stretch or to be truly unleased? Only the Shadow knows.....

Please someone stop that supervillain it is too far ahead!! we need a superhero to send it back hiding into a dark alley!

It's nice to see the voting shaping up! good job everyone!

Thanks for the compliments!!!!!!!!
Just glad to play with some awesome bike builders, I had so much fun building Blue-X
Thanks again!!
And Thanks to everyone who voted for Blue X

it's too quiet in here

I thought we were going to remove the top three or so because the numbers were too far out of the "normal" range and score it that way. :p

We are going to throw out the high and the low and go with the middle.
exactly, more competitive that way.

last year there was a last minute surge of votes just before the end of voting and i suppose that's possible this year too. one things for sure this has definitely been a rush, i mean i think i've almost had as much fun watching the voting this week as i did building the bike! :D

On Sunday there’s a hot rod show a few suburbs away so I’m going to ride over to that and check it out, if the weather is like it is today its going to be fantastic.

Corker of a day, one of those nice warm spring kinda days. Even managed to park the bike near a karmann ghia drag car :p

I plan to ride it into the ground and then start all over. :D

Gerry has the right idea but what if its a poor rider, not his but others. My build is really nothing more than a rear triangle. If I unbolt it and disconnect the chain and cables I still have the original bike. I would like to put the Jua Kali (Juak Ali) on the Pugs trike, what a massive cargo bike that would make.
My other two build off bikes...........The Shadow is hanging flat on my 10' ceiling in my garage (hanging over my wifes car) and I would sell to anyone with deep pockets foolish enough to buy it. I just like looking at that thing. The Grunge Rudge has been updated to be a cruiser and is one of my main rides. I wouldn't sell that unless the person that would buy The Shadow had a friend.

Cheers to the trailer queens....
Cheers to the riders.............
Cheers to everyone that entered the buildoff.........
