awesome. Had band rehearsal last eve. Did any one wipe out this week?

Fortunately we made it to the end without drama. I've been to every ride since 2016 and that was the first time the ride ended due to crash that I'm aware of......

Beating up suburbia on the King Sting this morning for a solid 12 miles and no mishaps.

First ride in months and months. Can finally lift weight and put pressure on my shoulder post surgery

Tried all the arrows in the quiver to find the right bars that didn't give me impingement and settled on Oscar and the flat bars

After being gone for a month, it was fun to get to pedal around today with my fellow oompa-loompa munchin buds, Chris and @Dr. Tankenstein . We even saw a Hyundai Batmobile.

I rode my '41 GrayBeardJohn custom DX home from dropping off my car for new tires last night.

I hit a piece of metal that fell off a truck & sliced a tire on the way home from moving my Aunt to her new place.

Made it to the tire shop after mounting the spare & they put the wrong size tires on my car.🤦‍♂️ They only had 2 in the size I need so will get all swapped to the correct size when more arrive today.

The old Stumpjumper is back to "red"
After seeing some of the great bikes here on RRB, I was inspired to clean up and repaint
my used to be "goto" bike, an old Stumpjumper that i've had for over 30 years.
Beside the red paint,(Rustoleum) (it was red when I got it) it also got a new front wheel,
a matching used rear wheel, regeared casette, and the biggest change of all is the bars.
After 30 years of insisting on flat bars, mounted high, i changed to a common bar with
2 1/2" rise and angled back.
My wrists started to get sore with the flats, the angle seems to help.
Still my best rider, as it is the most responsive to the limited power I have to pedal with.
