A wide rounded groove down the middle has you riding on two lines of treads. It rolls okay but needs a full tune up. It's too short for me. Would fit someone under 5' tall. 140mm cranks (5.5"). I found nothing on the www on this bike. I did find info on the 26" one speed version. Hard to call this a child's bike as it would bee too long for kid arms to reach the bars.
