Worksman Trike with 500 watt Motor

I had the trike, the motor and the battery so why not put them together? The 36 volt controller was $16 on ebay so for not a lot of money I have a "grocery getter". Have to agree with MattiThundrr from a previous post that the 1 wheel drive stinks but I upgraded the tires and there is a slight improvement in ride/safety. The 500 watt brushed motor is off of a MiniMoto quad I bought for $10 at a junkyard and is under powered for the bike with a 170 pound rider but on a full charge it gets the job done hitting over 15 mph on the flats.

No idea of the age. I know it sat outside at a local school for a long time but they weren't able to provide any info. It's amazing that aside from the handlebars all the rust came off. I did have to strip off the enamel bake coating on the basket and repaint but aside from chipping easily it looks great.
