Yes, you did. It comes from my pre RatRodBikes project, the Capitan Terror:

I used EPS (extruded polystyrene) and covered it with paper. To fix it to the wheel I used screws and large washers (next time I take smaller washers but 5 instead if only 3). I'll do this again in this build....

I took the opportunity of the long weekend and spent a night on the campground to collect some parts for my build.

This is my stash on the campground (see the grey boxes @GeePig?):;)

That's what I picked as my PoP:

Some light and reflector options plus breaks, levers and cranks:

Saddle, seatposts and spokes as I need to lace that duomatic into a 622 rim (I hope that at least one set of spokes will have the right length...)

kickstands (I prefer the left one, but it needs some work, as it's axle bolt is loose)

even did a little mockup:

All boxed up and loaded in (even rediscovered some cans with primer and flat white that will come in handy)

Next challenge will be to make some room in our basement storage compartment that's already filled to the brim with stuff and bikes...
What a nice selection of parts. I especially like the chainguard but am looking forward to the "special secret cheesy sauce" chainguard you have in mind. I notice that everyone is hungry.

Extruded polystyrene you say...
Fancy poster board from the art supply house? I was thinking of something along those lines myself. Very cool.
I got it from the DIY store. If I remember right it came in sheets about 100x50cm, about 3-4mm thick and it is sold as insulation...
But as I said, I will do this again soon and keep you all posted. 😉

I’ve been wanting to do a sticker bomb bike or decoupage for a LONG time! DIG IT!

This one will not get done (yet), in fact I didn't even start working on it. It's still a (growing) pile of parts, stashed away in the basement, waiting for the next/summer build off to start. It's just to much at the moment, teaching exhausts me a lot lately and in the evening I'm just done and too tired to get at wrenching on a bike.
I will barely get the little Hope4muscle done in time...
