that thing in front is not a front shock cover but a hydraulic cylinder. but at the moment he remains chrome.

If it makes the bike go up by itself it either has a steel spring or a compressed air “spring” in the housing.

In any event it’s an ingenious idea.

Then technically it’s probably not hydraulic. There’s no oil or water. It just works off air so is considered a gas piston. This is very similar to the construction of any modern gas shock absorber except that there’s no oil to control the motion, as you don’t have to worry about the office chair being bouncy

I had a car with gas pistons to help you open the trunk because it was so heavy and they can be purchased in all kinds of configuration nowdays; so I have long considered them for building a custom front suspension in the teledraulic or telelever style.
