Hard shell

Huh. 10,000 posts. A time for considering my time here, deep thoughts, a pause from the smoke and the haze to think on what has passed over the last four years. I wanted to scribe a heartfelt post reflecting upon the people I've met, things I've learned, bikes I've liked. Then I saw a picture that summed it all up, a dashing clown having fun on the wrong bike.

Kinda sums it all up. Hopefully I didn't leave you lying in my wake. Keep it rolling, folks, I'll keep on laughing

The direction some of these threads turn so quickly that sometimes I have to just stop.

Ooooh, funked up roller cams! You might be able to stop...
Eventually

But now you got me all curious about the bike it's attached to

Brakes: I've had good luck with them in the mud and slime of north FL. If anybody is throwing away any parts for 'em......:p

Frame: 80s when it started out as a CrMo Cunningham designed Nishiki that met up with a car. Front fork and triangle rebuilt with double butted CrMo tubes: a higher bottom brkt for increased ground clearance and laid back seat tube: more like a touring bike. It became my go-to camping, expedition, etc bike.
