Here is the place to place your votes for your favourite bikes! It was going to be 3 votes each, but with the new forum it is one or as many as you want, so do what you like! If you think they all should win, vote for them all!

Please if you have not already, look at the "Finished bikes thread" before voting!
One picture is not enough to show all the great details and ideas that went into these bikes.
Some of the builders must have missed the place your voting pic at the top comment, so I had to pick for them, I hope they agree with the ones I used! Some builders also posted ride videos, in the interest of fairness they were not included here but can also be found on the finished bikes thread.

Here are the bikes!

That is it, cast your votes, but I am sure all will agree that all the builders deserve to win and there is not a bad bike among them! If anyone does not like the bike they have built, just said it to me, I will put it to good use! ;)

So many cool rides in this build off!
WELL DONE!!!

I guess the new forum solves the issue people used to have with members being able to see the vote tally before they had voted.

Is voting available to all, or just participants in the build off?

Very tough decision but I got er done! They are all winners in my book.

You can choose whether or not to allow the vote to be visible when you set it up. ;)

What a great bunch of bikes. . Tough to decide who to vote for and who wasn't quite as incredible as the rest...They ALL ARE GOOD. I know my favorite but that is just because I am a sucker for that particular bike..Excuse me now while I go find some paper towels to wipe off my keyboard.

Question: How does the percentage calculator work? Obviously, it's not a function of total votes cast. Does it reflect popularity among voting members? (i.e. 53.8% of members favored one bike, even though that same bike garners but 14 out of 103 votes cast--roughly 13.6%.)

I have been thinking on that myself, I think because everyone is allowed to vote for as many bikes as they like, it is expressing a percentage of people who have voted in total, against how many have voted for a particular bike.

So in your example, 53.8% of the people who have voted to this point have given that bike one of their votes.

It works out, believe me!

That bike at the moment has 14 votes, it works out that 26 different people have voted so far, with 14 of them giving it a vote. (53.8%)

You can determine the number of people that have voted so far by dividing the number of votes that any given bike received by the % for that bike. Currently there have 30 people that have voted. On average each voter is casting votes for 3.76 bikes. I personally voted for 4 bikes.

I like the format of this voting where you can cast a vote for as many bikes as you want.

I also like that you can't see the results until after you vote.

I voted for 3 bikes... figuring I would just stick to the original intention. I had narrowed it down to 5 and I thought about voting for all 5, but I made the promise to myself that I would do 3... knocking out the last 2 was hard. I used the following criteria to choose...

1. Is it a bike I would build?
2. Is it a bike I would ride?
3. Do I like the overall look and style of the bike?

 Maths is not a strong point for me, so the rest of the kingfish quote above is over my head... I only understood the "I personally voted for 4 bikes" part.
