Bike stem is 7.5 inches Fork steer tube is too short Here are pics of both

the fork tube is too short for my bike, I need a fork with a longer tube, I'll take a few pics of the bike and the fork tonight

bought a cruiser fork that does not it my bike, the steer tube needs to be larger, anyone have another cruiser/chopper fork for larger stem? Mine is new in box chrome

I did search and see that I may be able to extend it but my fear is it throws all the fork geometry off..never worked with one before so I don’t know if you can change the steering tube and nothing else

i have an OP roller and wanted to add a springer fork, I bought a 26 inch one, and the steer tube is too short. My question is can I change the steer tube to a longer one and use the same fork or do I need a whole new assembly/ thanks

hey, long time lurker, working on a OP roller, removed decals, added new handlebar/stem and 3 speed hub with vintage suntour sifter. May add banana seat and chopper fork, its fun for riding around right now. Other hobby is Hot Rods. see avatar Thanks
