Thanks guys, and thanks for the parts offers. I found out that it takes a 40mm BB. Thompson makes them. Only found a cottered versions...fyi for others that run into a similar problem. Ordered one and found a crank to go with it off an old Sears bike...

Looking for a bit of info on this frame I just picked up. I think its a 50's Heidemann Bicycle Works Rotorjet. The BB measures 1.5" i.d. and I'm having trouble tracking one down. Any ideas?

Looks like its a 1952 world traveler that is missing the dyno front hub. Fork will need to be replaced. Thanks for the help everyone!

The guy I got it from said he purchased it in 1953 and it was used. Thats what led me (after looking up the serial) to think it was a 52. The bend in the fork seems too perfect to be a curb job, but I could be wrong. Its been repainted. Says arnold schwinn on the head badge. 3 Speed. The...
