Mystery Frame, what cranks would work?

I don't have one, but a more carful measurement comes in very near to 1 1/2 inches

Mystery Frame, what cranks would work?

I've seen them, will they fit the smaller diameter bottom bracket ( 1 3/4 as opposed to the "normal" 2") that this frame has?

Mystery Frame, what cranks would work?

I recently picked up this interesting frame. Sorry for the poor pictures. It was reported to be a 1920-30's Mead Ranger-but certainly isn't. Check out the chain tensioners on the rear dropouts. The serial number is on the seat stay as opposed to being entered with dies on the bottom of the...

What frame is this? Updated info

Thank you for the information. I'm not overly fond with the frame. I think replacing the bottom bracket with a modern, standard size is in the near future for it.

What frame is this? Updated info

I recently acquired this interesting prewar frame, the seller states that head badge said it was a Mead Crusader; still wondering about replacement bottom bracket stuff : The bottom bracket has threads like a modern three piece crank would have. It's 2 1/2 inches wide and about 1 3/4 in...

Swing Bike-reduced- now $500 Spring Special

I've enjoyed this one for a couple seasons and I've decided that it's time to pass it along. The crank, pedals, sprocket, seat and rear wheel are replacements, I think I have the front fender somewhere. No frame lock. It's in good shape for the age, original paint and is fun to ride. The front...
