Spoke with someone in Lawrence KS today. He let me know he knows about 5 folks from Lawrence, one from Colorado and big Ron from Omaha are coming in for this one. Sounds like word is getting around and turnout should be good. Lancer

Your yellow frame looks like a western flyer that I used to have. Same color and it had the seat post clamp attached the same way as yours does. Only difference is that mine was a 24" bike. Lancer

My first guess is going to be an early to mid 20's Columbia. What kind of hub does it have on the rear wheel? Also, can you see any outline of what the headbadge looked like. If so, post a pick of the headtube up here and that might help give a clue as to what you have here. Lancer

I spent two years in Garlstedt, between Bremen and Bremerhaven in the early 90's. Beautiful country, I still miss everything about it alot. The food, the beer,the wine, the air, the markets. Hoping someday to make it back for a visit. I don't have any good sketches of the Baron bike that I can...

Another KC cat chimin in here. Sweet bus and the contents are nice too... I used be a bug freak many moons ago too, until a head on collision with a volvo wagon taught me the value of an engine in front of you. Still would like to find a pre 65 to make a rat out of.....someday. Lancer
