    Ape hangers didnt work out so well because I was missing parts for other forks.i went with old handle bars but upside down. Bike put together and almost finished!! Will post pics tomorrow! Thanks everyone!

    Does anyone know how to put the forks back on a bike in th right order. I took my forks apart quick and didnt think about it. Now I am stuck. i tryed doing it and ended up bending one of the bearings. Not sure how they ever fit in the first place. I have a 87 Murray monteray. thanks

    All right guys and gals it is day two for me on my bike build and I am amazed what I found laying around. I found a aluminum desk thrown out in the top of an apartment dumpster and decided to make me some ape hangers. Then, since I dont have a welder,I cut the desk with an old peicer sawzall...

    The forks were the hardest for me. I used Bulldog flexible bumper paint stripper because it was all i had. That stuff would eat through a building :)
