Interesting Murray find at the Scrap Yard

Ok, did a little more research and ID'd it as an All-Pro "Jet Star" 3-speed.

Interesting Murray find at the Scrap Yard

Ha, I didn't even notice the sticker under it, thanks for the info! It's pretty rough but there's definitely some cool parts on it.

Interesting Murray find at the Scrap Yard

Hey y'all, I found this little dude at the yard yesterday, couldn't find any pictures of it on the web. It says "Murray Eliminator" on the seat tube, and "All-Pro" on the steer tube. Any thoughts?

Tubing Bender Question for Boardtrack Builds

No, you are totally right, I suppose I should learn geometry before building motorcycles! Haha, whoops... I feel like an idiot! Okay, well I decided to make a hardwood die anyway instead of buying the jd2, even now knowing that they would have the right die, so that at least I'll save some money...

Tubing Bender Question for Boardtrack Builds

Hey everyone, I am wanting to pull the trigger on a tube bender, but can't quite decide on what to do. I was going to get a JD2 with a 1" die, but the biggest centerline radius they offer is 5.5" and it's $260 just for the die! I am building motorized boardtrack racers, and want to start making...

    Thrown together: My first build

Yeah I am excited just to get any motor on there right now. Eventually when I have a space and some extra money to buy a tubing bender, I can make any old engine fit.

How are people making gas tanks?

I am curious about different ways to weld/braze together sheet metal gas tanks, as seen on many of the cool motorized replica bikes (harley, indian, merkel etc.) Any tips on type of welding used, gauge of sheet metal used, and what kind of joints are being used and if a butted corner joint is...

    Thrown together: My first build

@Moisstink: Sorry to say but I put the briggs on the back burner for this build, I have been using other people's houses to work on my bike and it got to be sort of a hassle so I'm just throwing a chinese kit on this one. But I'll be back on here with another build once I get my own shop set up...

    Thrown together: My first build

Made a seatpost so my seat can move back and forth: And I was given this awesome stem:

    Thrown together: My first build

So my friend was given a cruiser with one of those chinese engine kits, had been sitting for a couple years and we got it fired up the first night. I couldn't contain the grin on my face so I decided to put the briggs on the back burner and just put a kit on this one. Ran into some problems with...
