good eye! googled it and thats it! i probably wont do much with it, maybe a light sanding then a satin teal green paint then sand again to show some patina through, maybe ill splurge and get some white tires like my hiawatha in avatar. i was just excited to see what i found!
i found this bike while out collecting scrap. ive never seen a frame with double top tubes so i was curious if any one had any info on era, make, and model?
i was dropping a load of scrap steal and seen this bike right away, they let me have it for an even swap on the weight. its a roadmaster deluxe satellite. im just curious what year it is and i'm pretty sure thats not the right seat but not positive.
might be a few changes later on, i really wanted to use a 3pc. crank but i got impatient so i just used the one from the dyno that the handle bars and stem also came from. And not sure how long that home bent seat post will hold up my 260 lbs lol. im excited to get some miles on this thing.

getting near completion. i painted the inside and bottom of the "tub" then clear coated the whole tub. also painted the wheels, painted on the white walls, and machined brass bushings to replace the old factory wood bushings :wink:
