I'm a swiss guy, living in germany and working as a teacher in primary school. I also spent 15 years working as propsmaster in various theatres in germany. I love hacking, altering, improving and of course building things!
My first bike I built in 1994, a trekking bike, based on a frame made by Herkelmann. I ride this bike up until today.
A few years back I started building/restoring/hacking bikes/trailers again, to the dismay of my wife (she hates cycling) but for the benefit of my two sons (born 2012 and 2013)...
