Yeah I agree Harry, i guess its getting the right officer on the day when u get picked up.
and in australia, there is no way to register these bikes. i guess the only way to keep getting some nice use out if it... is to take it on to private property/land. or risk riding the streets, and maybe...
bike is done. runs fine, no problems.
bumped into a police officer today while riding it also. Apparently its a 1300 fine on the spot for riding a powered bike above 200 watts, bike will also get taken to be destroyed
dont think ill be riding it on the street anymore.
i know im probably diggin up an old thread..
but heres what we came up with. now the pics arent the best for descriptive purposes.. But ill try explain best.
parts used :
2x fork steerer tubes.
2x fork top nuts
2x 10c AUD coins or similar, or small peices of sheet metal
2x thin pieces of...
haha, well it just made sense!! its soo simple, yet its effective! i think i get an estimated 2.5 litres in the tanks combined. its not alot, but enough! using 4 inch pipe would give alot more, but the 3 inch seeemed to fit nicely.
We havent had a chance to get it running again since...
thanks buddy, originally we consider going a single tank through the middle of the two top tubes.. but we decide double is better! i love it

becuase we only have adjustment on the rear wheel for the belt drive.. the chain for the cranks finished a half link shy of being tight. so today i quickly sorted a chain tensioner to stop the loose chain being sloppy. good shot of the small chain ring here too.
couple last photos here now. engine got a good amount of satin black, polish and some gloss. im really happy with out it came out!
at the time of these photos we were working on the tanks to get them just right.. The bike is completed now, it just needs a final running and test right. so those...
satin black. all the parts done!
also the frame done in the same satin. dads recommendation, and i completely agree! you can also see the engine mount in this photo! this was dads idea, and it is working great. the engine we have also has a few mounting points on the top of the motor, but i...
Re: Golden Pigeon Board track racer build
as mentioned, the seat was changed!! i was never a fan of the original seat. it didnt match the lines of the bike.. so we made this one up. some sheet steel, using original pieces of the old seat. its a mono spring set up. and yes it does work!
