No new pics yet because I'm still working on her (old ones in my Intro), but I added a front hub motor to my Townie 7 today. (And doing about 18mph very quickly after the push of a button is a bit weird on a bicycle. :-) ) Other to-do's this week - New tires, new fork, new handlebars, and more...

I installed a B135 on my Townie 7 and realized with the stock handlebars that I need a bent post to sit me back a bit further -- looking forward to finding a new front end! Beverage time...

Ahh great looking bike. I just checked out the thread. Way way cool. Regarding forks, I was able to check out the fork specs on the Rat Fink, and read that they were triple-tree forks. I remembered seeing some on choppersus.com, so worst case I'll spend a bit of money and get something new. Now...

Well, if I could find someone who has some Big Hanks (black with red stripe) in stock, I'd be partially on my way. What type of fork is used on the Rat Fink ? (Electra's website scares me with all the sliding graphics bazillion MB catalog...)

Ahh cool, I'll take a look into that. Thanks! I'm not planning on keeping the Townie fenders, and will probably also remove the chain guard. If I can find some steel fenders that will slip in, or something on the rear that hangs off the seat post, that may be a possibility too.
