Good day all. I'm getting ready to get my Heavy Duti ready for paint. I'm using straight bmx forks with a bmx stem and 9.5" rise bmx bars. I like the Brooks B66 saddle, but I'm not sure that this is the correct model or seat type for this set up. If not, what would you recommend? *Disclaimer: I do get numbness in the prostate area with the current Schwinn cruiser seat (or any seat) I'm using now. What say you?

Sounds like you might want to look at the carved out flyer as an option if you really want to stick with a sprung saddle
What's the difference between the two? Is the Flyer going to cause numbness? I noticed that none of the Brooks saddles have the cut out in the middle like most other manufacturers saddles do.

I have a Brooks Champion Flyer on my Heavy -Duti.

My seat is a Leppert Primus with 4 seat springs. It is comfortable but it doesn't have a cut-out.

I have 5 B67 saddles without cutouts. No issues on any of the bikes equipped with them but that’s me. I find the springs on a brooks firm but still soft enough to smooth out the bumps. Run whatever works for you. A cutout saddle may help you. You could also use loose fitting cycling shorts with a padded liner. I have a bad back and a sprung saddle and padded shorts help on long rides.
