Hi. I’m looking for advice on selling and shipping wheels.
I have a very nice set of painted 1950’s Perry 24” wheels with really nice snake belly tires.
The paint is bubbled off in places but the wheels spin without the slightest wobble. Very straight and smooth.
The tires are old but they’ve been on the bike stored inside for many years, and I took them for a ride just this week so I believe they are nice riders still.
I can’t decide whether it’s better to sell the rims and tires separately or as a set?
I’m getting quotes of $75 for the dimensions I enter and that seems expensive.
The tires will probably be harder to sell without the rims, in my guestimation, but I really don’t know the market very well.
Would any of you care to share your opinion about this with me?
Thank you, Hukah

Bike Flights. I recently bought a set of 700x25c wheels from someone on the opposite coast. I believe they (and I) paid approx $38 to ship them. The box also had a Shimano groupset in it.

Thx for the info, free.
I’ll check them out in the morning.

Oh, and I should have mentioned that when I ship a heavy box of wholesale bicycle grips, I use BikeFlights. It's always cheaper than UPS.

I noticed that recently.
It blows my mind that they use these shipping agents but their prices are cheaper.
