I tried looking the date up on this 24" girls skip tooth American Flyer but didn't find anything. Got any ideas? Thanks

Looks like a Schwinn decal on the seat tube. If so, it could be pre 1948. The Schwinn lookup tool doesn't work on pre 48 models. More details of the frame would be nice.
That's Schwinn from what little is shown. The decal as hammer mechanic noted, and the paint accents along with the BB weld are telltale Schwinn.
More pics needed. Are the dropouts forward facing? That's the biggest hint, pre or post war.
I don't have an "X" anywhere in my lists or notes for Schwinn. There was a "Z" in 1950 but I don't know why.
