Yeppers, some people who run tubeless still carry a tube for emergencies.
I have Rekons on one set of wheels and Ardents on another
Also a big fan of Continental. I have a few sets
That doesn't surprise me, bet you have a 20 in the seat post to. I wish I was that prepared I'm more likely to be caught on the trail trying to patch a tube with a leaf and mud and looking for a chipmunk with a phone.i rarely even think of water.
I patched a sidewall tear with American currency before. Lots of patch glue, a bill, duct tape, and luck

See I wouldn't have the currency on me mind you a Canadian bill may be cheaper than buying a patch kit

Also, you don't use super low pressure, preventing pinch flats was a big reason driving the switch to tubeless
With that classic Breezer frame, it'd be cool to run an old skool looking mtb tire combo. Horizontal block style rear for digging in and chevron style front for control and low rolling resistance.
I like the Capt's suggestion of Conti's, and another one would be the WTB brand. The Continental 'King' series would offer some options, or these WTB Velociraptors in the front and another WTB in the rear for traction and of course, the all important 'look'.

Continental Race King and the Speed King are amazing tires! Good all around

I'm with you @OddJob @MattiThundrrr @ingola Here in wet & muddy Nth FL many of us would run a big block/paddle rear tire for quick tire block "clean out" and a chevron style front for better directional control. For air I liked my "hidden" Zefal Solibloc pump inside the seat tube......

It's supposed to have mud on it, that's mountain bike polish. The huge tires with thin steel tubes looks monsteriffic!
