That's cool man. I think the paint looks great on the shady side too! You must be stoked. Grease, some pedals, tires, and off you go on a ride. Everyone will stare at the bike while you grin ear to ear...
I haven't stopped smiling all day.. I'll have to wait until I have a day off to really work on it. I had about 20 minutes before work so I cleaned up the bad side a bit...

Here’s mine. 1938 Western Flyer. I disassembled it and soaked everything in evapo-rust. The frame, fork, and fenders are at the powder coater. Still need to send the chrome off. It’s kind of on the back burner right now.

You've really done a stunning job on that. I like that you didn't do a repaint. Those faded white graphic accents on the frame are awesome. I love the flow of the lines of the frame. I just finished a 90s Huffy, which I guess Huffman was the original name? Posted before and after pics in a thread here.

Thanks, ya some soap and water then a healthy dowsing of boiled linseed oil to really bring the old colour out. Only have about three hours into it so far but she’s a beauty. Really excited for this one.View attachment 269041View attachment 269042
It has such a wonderful patina to it. I'll remember the soap and boiled linseed oil trick. Yep, she's a beauty.
