I'm so pleased at seeing my grips on there. Thanks very much. Bike is killer.
The wife loved them. When I planned the switch to the 7/8 bar I ordered the smaller pair, because she said she wanted them on it. The 1" ones will get used, maybe in this year's MBBO.

With only a few laps to go, Ricky Bobby comes into the pit for a complete rear end swap out.
SHAKE AND BAKE!!!!

When the rear end is in bad shape, its no fun for anyone...

Tom you are going over the top on this one!

I guess that's better than going 'over the bars', which we both have done many times!
Thank You Lee!

And yes, it's been a few years now since I want over the bars and bounced a few times and slid down the trail to a painful stop, cracking the helmet on a rock.. (July of '19).

Over the top is way more satisfying than over the bars...

Got new shifter and brake cables made to length at the bike shop up the street and installed them.

The way I had to install it, the rear pedals came up about 2".

Still trying to find the right front tire. No LBS has 29x3s left. They all said they can order them.

Things left todo are the final Details. A few stainless bolts with acorn nuts for the sissy mount. Front tire and possibly adding a couple washers to the spacers on the fork pivot. Hard mount the batteries for the rear wheel lights. Final pics.

I really had no idea where you were going to take this build when you started. It has turned out so cool. Very nicely done!! :113:
I had no idea for sure either. Glad for the cool. 👍 I was given two requirements on this build.
  1. 3 wheels
  2. It has to look cool, not like a granny trike.
So far, I think I have met the original requirements. Just today she added one to them. It has to stop well. It stopped in 10 ft on the tst ride, so, the Brakes need adjustment for that... hehe. As a systems architect, I call that scope creep.

Tomorrow she agreed to test drive the trike after I get it braking better.

Details. 7ft4in from tip of tire to tire

Some WellGo Square bear traps. ( came off of that blue bike. )

Put a y on the lights, covered the lead coming out and mounted the battery pack so they won't fall off.

Chain is blue and brown. Always right sized if it wears of the points on the narrow...
