Well, not too speedy.

Another single speed conversion.
Cut/ground off the brake mounts and cable guides. Touched up the paint and cleared.
newish aluminum rims, painted white for now. Getting ready to try to match the angular decals with more paint on the rims.
bars & stem painted. May add some more angled paint on those.
headset repacked. Seat post found and installed. untorn seat.
Mongoose branded aluminum cranks swagged to steel rings. Extra rings removed. middle ring was swagged on, the small and large rings were riveted on. Remaining ring painted. This one was a bit different. Most of the cheap mtb cranks are all steel and painted after the rings are welded or riveted together. This one was painted before the riveting and swagging.
Frame respaced and dropouts aligned from 135 to 110 for the coaster brake. Despite this being a cheap bso, the rear triangle is moderately strong.

done.

rims painted with angular shapes to match the decals on the frame.
I used green painters tape. Still got lots of bleeding under the tape. Hand cut the letters. Not doing that again.
27 pounds.
Rides fair with the big knobs.
Small 26" mtb frame so good for someone about 5' to 5'5"
So simple with no cables, brake calipers, levers, derailleurs.
I've done over 50 single speed conversions.
