Murray Mt Climber 24" wheels, 10 speed with splatter paint.
Conversion to single speed.
cable stops cut off, paint touched up.
Rims painted to match, sort of. I didn't have an exact match for the light blue splats but it came out okay.
rivets removed from sprockets, smaller painted with aluminum metallic (did not come out well).
Coaster brake rear hub added.
Different seat.
The oem cranks are too short for adults but then this is a kids bike. 24" is recommended for ages 10 to 14.
Started sunday afternoon, finished tuesday before lunch.
Will go to the local Toys 4 Tots xmas drive.
So simple, no cables to mess up, no junky derailleurs, no worn out lousy brakes.
Before
After
Factory splatter paint in headset cups.
Owner applied gunk on derailleur (yo!, don't use motor oil on bike chains)
