I went to a great swap meet at JAF/CO in Stockton this morning. This swap is just for vintage bikes. It’s a must attend event for me and I make sure to go each year. Lots of great stuff there today.
I managed to find a few good deals on stuff for future projects.
I picked up this cool CWC Hiawatha frame with a non matching fork for a future build. I think the fork may just need a bolt to be all together, but I’ve never had one of these. I’m not sure of the year, I’ll do some research on the serial number.
Picked up this cool chrome vintage freestyle frame too. I’m not sure what it is. The guy thought it might be a Pacific Cyclone Freestyle, but I don’t know anything about them. It’ll make a cool bike.
Then there is this NOS Carlisle slick 20x2.125” in mint condition. Not even any dry rot. Still has the cast flash and clearly has never been on a bike. Great piece for a future muscle build.
Throw in a great fajitas burrito on the way home and it’s been a fantastic day.
