Would like to introduce myself Mike. I have a 1971 CCM scrambler 3 speed that I originally got in 1971. I did repaint it red from its original lime green when I was younger. Working on putting it back to the original color. Not sure if anyone has a paint color code, to get it as close the the original color.

welcome to RRB. I hope you share your progress restoring the Scrambler.

The codes are gone did you sand it before you painted it ? You can also pull the fork out and colour match

If you didn't sand it go very gentlely with goo gone and whipe the paint off

Unfortunately yes I remember sanding and paint stripping it. I am hoping somewhere I might find a piece of paint left.

Ask on the CCM group on Facebook one of those guys will know. The Stearer tube is probably your best bet

I’m on that group too. Asked that question just waiting to see if anyone replies. Will start in summer so I got some time.

For those of you following at home, this is the 71 CCM Scrambler in lime green, one of those rad Canadian bikes you guys down there might not see too often

Thanks will keep this picture for my build.
...or maybe it's this one. There's a lot of confusion about CCM muscle bikes, a lot of reused and renamed framesView attachment 283695
@Mike Brindza you'd better show us what you have!
That is like mine was, it had the black and white checker pattern seat. That color is what I remember mine to be. Same frame with the 3 speed shifter on the frame.
