I'll be in with my prewar Schwinn. It will be loosely based on Joe Breeze's 1941 Schwinn DX Repack bike as seen on clunkers.net.
It will retain the skip tooth drivetrain, have a Morrow rear hub and Schwinn forebrake up front.
 
Like I said, the seatpost came out with no drama.

Old seat had some cool upholstery. I don't plan on running it. I have some other options.

I'm going to try using this Schwinn exerciser post. heavy duty for sure.

Exerciser post is .120" wall. I may upgrade later, but already spent a boatload of woolongs on my front drum, rims/tires etc.

A little teardown today. I cant believe the stem and seatpost came out. Thanks, Aerokroil.
Kroil is great stuff. I like it better that PB Blaster or Seafoam Penetrant. Glad it all came apart as well. Had a couple of buolds stop in their tracks as a result if being seized together. Sometimes you never know.
