    lowering v brakes

    i just bought a cheap huffy style 26" cruiser and have fitted a front 24" hub motor, now i need to drop the brakes by about an inch so they contact the rim. i dont realy want to cut the forks at this stage. has anyone got any idears on how to achieve this?
