I need to replace the shift cable to accomodate some ape hangers. I purchased a long (3100mm) inner cable, and an equal length of housing. problem is, the cable end does not match at the shifter end. the existing cable-end looks like a "lollipop", the new cable end looks like a "barrel"...

Hello! I have lurked for a couple of weeks and am really enjoying this site. I recently bought an Electra Straight 8 at the LBS and now I am obsessed with bicycles. Sadly, my son confiscated my Straight 8... which led to my purchase of a like new Ghost Rider. :D
