    Aluminium number plates

I have a bunch of these aluminium plates available if anyone is interested? ***edit** guess these were cattle tags originally. Some have petrified rubberband remnants stuck to them. They had been stored for ages before I got them, then I put them away and forgot I had them. 🤣 They are 3" x...

The plate is magnetic, the 'W' is not.

I want to be able to remove it easily (it doubles as a bottle opener). Would love to keep it clean on both sides, so I'm working out a tension/prong setup.

A small red pin outlining the white racing stripe just might be the right amount of 'punch' to the graphic without distracting from the other details.

As previously mentioned, the thread pitch on the mic screens are different than the pipe reducers. I tried forcing it through, and I got about 2 threads down on one side, but can barely get a single to catch on the other side. May need to file down a bit or try and cut a new channel with a...

The audio guy inside of me laughs at this because (if these were functional), there would be so much feedback 🤣

Sticking with the diamond grips. The color and pattern are too perfect. @MattiThundrrr Here's your duel 😉 Going to tighten the screens all the way down. The thread pitch is way different, though the diameter matches, so I'll have to crank 'em down.

Was planning on using earth magnets to attach the 'W' to the top plate...but the stainless steel isn't magnetic 😔 I considered mounting these shelf clips to hold it, but the positioning would be off. Experimented with a suction cup, but not sure how long it would hold on a ride. So...

So instead, I decided to make a flat spot so the pipes will be on an even plane. This worked out much better, so I am going to run it like this. Finished the ends with cap nuts for a 'prettier' look.

Working on finalizing grills and header pipes. Because the pipes are not all attached to each other, they are anchored separately - on a curved base. This causes them to splay a bit. Initially I thought to make a figure 8 to hold them together, but it just looks sloppy.
