I have a bunch of these aluminium plates available if anyone is interested?
***edit** guess these were cattle tags originally.
Some have petrified rubberband remnants stuck to them. They had been stored for ages before I got them, then I put them away and forgot I had them. 🤣
They are 3" x...
I want to be able to remove it easily (it doubles as a bottle opener). Would love to keep it clean on both sides, so I'm working out a tension/prong setup.

Sticking with the diamond grips. The color and pattern are too perfect.
@MattiThundrrr Here's your duel 😉
Going to tighten the screens all the way down. The thread pitch is way different, though the diameter matches, so I'll have to crank 'em down.

So instead, I decided to make a flat spot so the pipes will be on an even plane.
This worked out much better, so I am going to run it like this. Finished the ends with cap nuts for a 'prettier' look.
Working on finalizing grills and header pipes. Because the pipes are not all attached to each other, they are anchored separately - on a curved base. This causes them to splay a bit.
Initially I thought to make a figure 8 to hold them together, but it just looks sloppy.
