The closest noteworthy custom shop near me is Sutter's in NorCal. Sutter's Street Cruisers I've called a couple times and purchased from him... haven't made the time to stop by yet, but will someday.

There's some. Bicycle Heaven in Pittsburgh, Memory Lane (that is shuttered now, I believe), Huntington Beach Beach Cruisers are a few of the biggies. Some show up in our banners. Then smaller shops that take some looking to find or word of mouth. There out there.

Those carts look like a hoot! We do the indoor cart thing once every couple years, and they aren't as fast as the ones you saw, but I still end up with bruises all over from the Gs ... super fun.

That's the same manufacturer I found...Asogo (Malaysian) seems to be a big distributor. Also all over alibaba and ebay.

I don't have anything that I'm willing to let go that is near perfect. Raleigh 22" wide ... Hercules 22" wide, same or similar to the Raleigh... Underside of the lever clamp area...rusty both sides... Girls Schwinn 21"wide...more rise than the English pair... Schwinn 23" wide...lots...

The Crawford Special is pre-war. Outskirtscustoms is very similar, but definitely post war. That stamped triangular BB to chain stay transition is the primary indicator.

They are a modern-ish (last ~25 years) chinese manufactured wheel. The hub design is used on current offerings. I'd guess they came on a big box store kids bike of some kind.
