Well I globbed more on the bearings but how would you define packing it with grease? I think I tried to put some on every part then extra on the bearings. Easy enough to open it up and add more so let me know what you think!

thanks...and i know it's no big deal to you guys but i was a little intimidated, i thought i would open it up and greasy brake pads were gonna come flying out and i'd never get it back together again!! when it all worked I was psyched enough to post the pix here! i had the camera in case i found...

ok boys... i decided to go for it :) A glass of wine, a little music and alot of engine cleaner... here's the goopy mess i found inside and after some cleaning. at this point i used engine degreaser and rinsed them. After the photo I used orange cleaner and a toothbrush amd more rinsing...

of course now i just left NY! that looks great btw!

i think there is always a market for one of a kind artisan made anything. i am a sculptor in a very small niche collectible market, i know where to find buyers and the buyers know where to find me. do you know where you can find your buyers? making a living at it depends on how you define that...

lol i jut moved from Farmingdale to Florida. Lived most of my life in North Massapequa, i went to Farmingdale HS... small world! I lived in Elmont when i was a kid though, that's western nassau county.
