    The Twin Sin. Updated 4/02

Re: The Twin Sin if you're still thinking about fenders, you could try swapping them back to front. that would give you a long enough front to get down to the lower bar level, and the back would look a little bobber. You could just use two rear fenders too. Or, you could check out the hammered...

The bike with no frame - Now With Frame

crank dragger! At 6'3", that varsity should be just about right.. what is it, a 25" frame with 26" mountain wheels? (or, 62cm with ISO 559 wheels?) ? That'd look righteous with a set of 2" tires and looong chrome fenders..

Gent's Bike, an evolution! (a tribute to Sheldon Brown?)

Triggered by the Pashley thread, here's a more recent take on my version of Sheldon Brown's Raleigh Superbe/Competition. The first time I saw his bike, I thought it made all the sense in the world. Sheldon's bike- I had done a lot of riding in high school, then stopped for about 5 years...

If I took off the fenders, flipped the bars, and put on some creme Schwalbes, it'd be very much like...

    Black Bean [a burrito]

This thing looks like it's going to be a sweet ride. I was thinking about your front end geometry issues though, maybe some math would help? The great thing about the internet age though, is that there are online calculators to do the math for you! This one looks like it might be perfect for...

    The Military Mountain Chopper

nice job! Wheelbuilding sucks the first three times or so, then it starts to come together. You jumped in at the deep end though, it must be a pain working around that gigantic rim! BTW, the Sheldon Brown tutorial and the Jobst Brandt book The Bicycle Wheel are both amazing tutorials. The...

    New Bike

That is awesome! I've been thinking that the pedal forward/steering by linkage design is the way to get a semi-recumbent riding position done right. You've totally nailed it!
