Yes, because its a tandem and we are both fans of the movie. My wife gets home with the camera on sunday and I will get some pics then. Who knows, maybe we can get some decals from the movie to add a theme to it, we'll see.

    my new Kmart All-Pro :)

Its looking awesome, I wish the paint on mine was as nice as yours. Coaster brake wheels are available new for about $40.00 or used on ebay or craigslist. also keep an eye out for some 10 speed drop bars. You are making me jealous, I have to finish my tandem before I can get mine going. GO...

    Ratatwouie

My camera is presently out of town with the wife and I will post a pic as soon as I get it back. Im starting out with a faded red Huffy Daisy tandem that I belive was made in 1973. Tires and tubes are shot, both crank arms are bent, pedals are junk, and the chainguard resembles Lombard Street...

    New chopper

To be honest, I cant say that Im a fan of this one but Im still a big fan of you. You have such an eye for classic designs and have so much talent to create those beautiful vintage style bikes from old frames and bikes that most of us wouldn't accept from someone. I do look forward to seeing...

    my new Kmart All-Pro :)

As far as suggestions go, Are you a fan of the movie Breaking Away? I have the same frame but mine came as a single speed. This is the same frame used for the bike the cutters rode in the little 500 race in the movie. Yours has a different sprocket though. If you can find a single speed...

    Industrial Bikes

Thanks for the link, I had no idea the old hevi duties and cycle trucks were still being made. If youre like me and have nowhere to paint, clean, weld, or even find an old straightbar bike and wanted to do a classic style ratrod, industrial bikes is the place to start.

    Schwinn Coffee

Trying to find a clean old schwinn in Denver is like finding a needle in a haystack. They are going for big bucks and you are never the first to respond to an ad. When I saw the magazine ad for the coffee/cream pair I got excited. I have an Electra Amsterdam and an Electra Coaster which I...

    Some of my other bikes

The Novara is a store brand from REI oudoors store. It got great reviews as commuter of the year and thats what I use it for. I am looking for a matching pair of the Schwinn Coffee and Cream bikes for the wife and I to get her more involved in the cruiser scene but they have to be special...

    Schwinn Coffee

Has anyone seen the new Schwinn Coffee 3 speed bike? I have seen an ad in Bicycling magazine for it but none of the Schwinn dealers in Denver have one. It has to be special ordered here for some strange reason. Its a skinny tire 3 speed bike like an old suburban. I was wondering if anyone...

    Some of my other bikes

The wife came home to this one day and had a fit. I had to sell a few off but still have all the others and then some pictured below. Since I have nowhwere to paint or even clean parts, they are all new. Hope you like them, and Yes, I ride them all.

    Takara Build!

I love this concept with the old school womens frame. Is it ridable in this configuration?

    My Nightster

I'll pass on the black bars and just paint these. Im having issues with the wife about all the extra bikes and parts in the house right now. I keep reminding her about all of her shoes but you know how that goes. 8)

    Das Fahrrad von Österreich

That cleaned up really nice, are those the same rims?

    60's Sportsman

What a beautiful family heirloom. Definitely a keeper and Im sure its a smooth ride. I agree about the bars, looks mean nothing if you cant ride it. I have tried several flip bar combos on my bikes and they all hurt my back.

Made my own straight bar from a junker

Dont sell it unless you really need the money. Find a place to store it so you can show it off with the rest of your bikes some day.

    My Nightster

I scored this Electra Coaster basically brand new from a lady on Craigslist. Her boyfriend didn't like it. I swapped out the front tire, pedals, wheel reflectors, bars, valve caps, and grips. I added the truss rods, bell, and rear fender. The secret to this bike is a very light aluminum...

    A Breaking Away Bike

The official before shot from the craigslist ad of this AMF Roadmaster I bought several months ago. I have disassembled it and am cleaning the parts. Cant believe how much grime can be on a bike. The wheels are salvageable but the spokes are shot. They will have to do, the chainring and...

Made my own indian from a girls huffy...

Check Electra, they now make white 700 cc tires for the amsterdams, I dont know if thats close enough to fit 27 inch rims but you should have no problem finding 700 cc wheels if they dont. I know the 700 cc wheels fit on 27 inch bikes. I have been thinking about the white tires for my red...
