I think if you could swing that arm forward you’d have it in a good spot. On another note. I mentioned the original chain guard but was thinking of a different thread.

Never heard of the Cyclo derailleur before. Pretty cool. Was really scratching my head when I zoomed in on those pics. Does look like they’re meant to be mounted farther forward.

Cool. Another trike build. Good to see you in the mix. Just a heads up. Keep the cruiser frame small. Boys frame make a trike a bear to mount/dismount.

Is it the big chain guard? I think you could make a cool chain guard for that out of an old wall hanger guitar or other instrument with a thin wood body. Look forward to the OJ mystery item.

Thanks cap’n. They came off of a 2000/2001 Schwinn Panther. A lightweight (22lb) single speed.

Thank you brother! For casing I have yellow shift and ice gray for the brakes. Didn’t realize the shift housing was Jagwire until now. Bonus. Was a 9 dollar Amazon deal. Didn’t say what brand.

Thank you Pondo. It’s more interesting than I thought it would be. Got it sanded and buffed. Lost 4 of the small stickers on the front but not very noticeable. Tried the bars on to see how they look. Not bad. Shifters are a little bulky. No fountain but I do have this. 😅 Looks...

If you have one of them originals I'd say yay for sure. Looks like you need to let out on you pivot screw on the deraileur. Should be hugging the cog tighter than that. Might need to shorten the chain a smidge too. For single front ring should be enough chain to wrap the largest cog + 2 links...

Really got my hopes up when @marshall hudson posted those fender thingies. Could have been a good mystery tracking down the jewels or trying to replicate them. More of a job for Banacek though if you remember that one. Pic of Haus Cartwright on that tiny plastic mini bike is gold. :D

Your friend did a nice job with that bike. He’d fit right in here. Bike is probably quick off the line with those gears. Cranks look really long too.

Will be the original 2x10. Have a set of Microshift Centos flat bar road shifters. Says they have ball bearings in them. 😎

After having these stickers for 6 years I couldn’t wait another second to put them in the bike. Some page 4 bling. Scrubbed, polished and waxed the chain and cassette.

Few more pix. She’s a little ratty and clear is still wet/milky but was such a special moment to capture.

It's hilarious and served as great motivation as a swore not to change the name back until the frame was done. This pic was posted May 7, 2018. Man time really flies by.

That’s very cool! Always nice to learn something new from our resident “Trekspert”. Didn’t see a bare carbon with polished dropouts and cable stops tho. That optional paint job costs almost double what I paid for my whole bike. Plan is to use these black Trek stickers to create a stealthy...
