    Stainless Scrapper

The front half is looking like my typical style, so once that's together, I'll ponder if I want to do something different for the back, or will the fact that it's stainless be enough to stand out.

    Stainless Scrapper

I've spent most of this year working at a hospital, plumbing a couple of new wings to expand the place. Behind the hospital is a big dumpster by their mechanical building, wherein they toss stuff not up to standards. Broken office chairs. Dented up carts. You get it. I'd seen several IV rolling...

    Faux Tanks

I've make some faux-tanks for a few of the custom frames I've made:

A new build from a noob builder (cruiser content & questions)...

Custom Cruisers in Zwolle, Netherlands. It's owned by a friend of mine, Karim de Vries. He carries all the cool parts, and definitely has the wheelsets you're talking about.

    Original Plastic Bicycle

When I was in Scotland, their museum had this plastic bike from the 60s, I believe. It's been a few years, but I think it was from Norway or Sweden. It was hung up high, but this was the best pic I could get.

    Faux Tanks

It was indeed a real horse saddle of some type. I always got different experts telling me what kind, never the same answer. Kid's saddle. A slim type of jumping saddle. Who knows, but I still have it on a shelf to use again in the future.

    Faux Tanks

Here's one that I was never super happy with, but the idea was to make a place to put a bunch of the cool stickers I'd collected over the years.

    Faux Tanks

I was hoping more people would chime in with their faux-tanks, but oh well. Here's another of mine, on a custom strider bike for my grandson:

    Faux Tanks

The next faux-tank I made wasn't until much later, on the 36" cruiser from 2016.

    Love that first one.

A straight bar tank I made myself from scratch.

    Faux Tanks

That's why I couldn't find one! I knew we had something. I'm pretty sure I've added to that thread. While "homemade" and "faux" have a lot of overlap, they are not exactly the same, so I'll leave this thread going.

    Faux Tanks

Looks like there's no thread for faux tanks! There have been some good ones on this site over the years, so post them up here. Whether it's to show off your awesome work, or just as inspiration, they're good fun. A note on what makes a tank on a bike a "faux tank": that would be a flat, 2D...

    Faux Tanks…

There's gotta be a "Show Me Your" thread for faux-tanks. It's a big category.

    FIRE WOMAN

Didn't notice this build before, but I wish I had. Love a flipped bike, and this thing came out cool.

I followed most of what you were saying, but while I haven't Goggled anything to verify, I'll say that I suspect you're throwing some Österreich dialectal words in there, which threw me off. Isn? I deduce from context that's a contraction of "ist" and "ein." I'll have to remember that one. Ich...

I've already submitted my final pics, so I'll add these here. I was able to get a pair of folding apes from a 60s or 70s Portacycle, and this has improved the comfort immensely.
