    Donkey

Nice job! The seat is too creepy for my taste, but everything else rocks!

    Nightmare on Elgin Street

I am planning on entering, but it might be a while before I start on it. Don't get a lot of shop time right now.

    Nightmare on Elgin Street

I've done the gender-swap and stretch a couple of times, and it makes for a smooth riding bike for us taller folk! I'll be watching.

    hash

This doesn't meet the original requirements of "scratch built," but hey, as a build I'm looking forward to it, none-the-less.

Rat Rod Bikes Build Off #17: Let's Go!!

It's been a couple of years since I've done the build off, and even longer since I've finished a bike during the allotted time, but I think I'll be in this year. There's a build that's been brewing for years in my brain, and while I worked a couple of months in San Jose away from home, it became...

    Seabee Tribute (Future) Project

Retired Seabee Chief here. I'll be watching this build. I've built a Navy themed bike before, but thus far, have not done a Seabee build specifically. And @nevin , I ended my career as the AOIC for the detachment at Camp Parks! I've never seen that pillow cover before, that's incredible! If you...

Boardtracker / Antique motorcycle style bicycle build

As mentioned, it's too good of a name to not have been used a thousand times, so feel free.

    Studebaker Pedal Car

A reminder that an update is in order. I have made a roadster windshield for it. Pictured here with my nephew trying it out.

    Alchemist Airflow

You folks here get the first view!! It's all together, and a rider. Only a couple of minor details left, namely some pinstriping and fender darts, and possibly a head badge of some type on the fender, like it is for Shelbys. As I stated, you can see some rippling on the tank, fenders, but most...

    Alchemist Airflow

Got the parts back from the powder coater. Pictures this weekend. The bad news is that the gloss finish really shows the flaws in the parts. The dents, dings, small holes, ripples, etc. The good news is that as a whole package, taking a step back, I think it'll look outstanding.

Skip tooth: is it worth it?

Month old thread, but I'll add my two cents. Skiptooth chain was one of many options before all bike builders standardized. The last skiptooth rolled out of the factory in 1953, so the prices go up as the years go by. Also, if you want to build skiptooth, you generally have to buy two chains for...

    Alchemist Airflow

I made a new front fender for the Airflow (out of a rear fender), so that it's much cleaner, and... I made a rack! The angle of the stays to the seat post made it so that the exact same way that the Shelby Airflo rack bolts on wouldn't work, or at least I couldn't get it to work, so I ended up...

Made myself a new steel ballcap, but this one is my first in stainless! I made it out of a serving bowl, so that the pieces had some curve to them, thus a smoother finish.
