That's my profile pic, my first build on the forum. I mounted a 10.5" wide drag slick, onto a 4.5" wide rim. That gave me the round tread profile I was looking for, for a bike.

It does look faster, I have to agree.

Scored this crappy slider today. I see the beginnings of a penny farthing in that front wheel.

Today's mission, was to paint and build up this 'Bandit' styled ride. Inspired by the Flite Bandit padset.

Tried on a tall and skinny front. 700x35c out front with the 26x2.25 rear. Gives a bit of a hot rod look. but I still prefer the fats front and rear.

Thanks dude. I've tried so many 26"combos, trying to find the right look. But nothing was doing it for me till the 29s. The thin skin wall on the 700c's is the key I think.

My class two build this year. Starting with a step through beach cruiser, a bunch of fabrication work went into giving it a new life.

Final touches. Stand, fender brace, and a Sturmy Archer headlight. Calling this build done and dusted.

Turned out great. I think you nailed the concept.

Painted and installed the tank. I think it's just enough. Not too much, but adds a little extra style.

Got the tank cut filled and shaped today.

Built a new 29er wheelset for this one. I guess now it's a PL29 Redline.

I've used a fork, or a cut of rear triangle with a pair of cable ties as a truing stand for the last couple years. Plenty of info out there about building wheels. You tube has plenty on the subject. It's not as scary as it looks hahaha
