It is a modern made in China frame. Big difference to the schwinns of old. We didn't get those vintage schwinns in Australia. So have to make do with what we can get.

My decals arrived, the finishing touch for this build. I'm calling this one done. Finished. Completed. Next step is hit the trails and get some photos.

They are 700x45c wtb riddler, front and rear

They are an older Mavic rim with SS eyelets. Worn black hard anodised, with a fresh coat of satin black. Left overs from my build off bike this year. I built them up with a sealed front, and coaster rear hub.

I prefer the the 26 for this frame. It makes a good bomber on the fatties, as I roll through the mud over what ever and not care. On the 700c you are looking in front all the time and picking the best line. But I love the 700c for a fast bmx style, light off road, gravel, pavement cruiser. I...

As you know, The mixte has good potential too. Add a top bar for a Breezer style build. Or cut seat tube down for a BMX style frame, Though I already have one of those in the works.

So The new fork is 21.1 for the stem🤦‍♂️ Had a look through my parts and the only 21.1 stems I have are bmx, which won't for my 1"bars. All my 1"stems are 22.2. Looked on ebay, could only find ugly steel mtb stems too fit. Sooo, I fired up the old ww2 lathe and made some swarf👌 Problem solved.
