More progress tonight!

Not much progress to report on… headbadge installed. Unfortunately the Phil clamp was 28.6 mm and I needed 30.0 mm, so using the original clamp that came on both the Sting and King Sting. Hopefully next update will be more newsworthy 👍

Got the seat - super clean Mesinger saddle

Haha! I ran into issues with the seat clamp tonight - guess it was too small. Also I thought I had a Tange headset, but apparently not. So need to get those before moving on.

No I don't. Need to do that. :thumbsup: One update on the parts list. Forks are not Tange in the later pics. They are Gary Littlejohn tribute forks made by Johnny True Torch. I did have Tange forks on it when it was running with drum brakes.

Changing crank setup to OPC with Phil Spider. There’s also an accompanying Phil Wood seat clamp.

The frame should be ready next week. I'm going with a Sky Blue powder coat. Wheels are Blue Sun Rhyno rims with high flange sliver Sunshine hubs (5 speed rear). Crank and chain ring will be Campagnolo. More to come!
