I'm just spitballing here, but it looks like either the Metalcast went on too heavy, or the undercoats of silver and gold weren't really that 'bright' / reflective. I would go easy on the clear top coats as well. Even though they are 'clear', the layers will still affect the way the light hits...

I haven't watched the video, but it looks like your cable is pushing out of the shifter when you shift; did you use a new cable and housing setting it up? Cable could be binding in the housing. Other probable cause is the housing 'stop' on the chain stay. You need a stop where it prevents the...

Just popping by GuitarCarl's garage...and, OH MY! That frame! That original fork! Those wheels / tires! Whatever color that primer is, really works with that old school frame, and those brownish red walled tires. I'd be tempted to clear over that 'nude' frame and go with it. Black or brown...

@Tintmanpa , to get your white and pink to really pop, you might want to use a bright silver or chrome color over your primer and under your top paint coat. It will help the color come alive and give it some depth.
