Seems simple enough, sounds like just takes a little patience.

Manufacturers would never do that today for a ‘mass produced’ product. If they did, each bike would cost $5K.

Yep, the ends on a couple of them have the chrome rubbed off by the crank at some point in the past. I realized last night that I missed the bottom edge completely, so (in between rain drops) I’ll spray that area (probably the whole thing) and let it cure. The previous pic makes the finish look...

I REALLY like this build, great combo of a modern ’vintage inspired’ frame and true vintage parts, can’t wait to see those fenders in place!

I’ve never had an issue with JB Weld not firming up. Maybe it was old or you mix was off? Can’t hurt to clean everything up and try again
