The forecast says: Get to painting!

Finally got a coat of black on the fender and second coats on the tank. One more coat for the fender and the rest will go on the frame for a third coat. I hope to have the lace painting done by the end of the week.

I found the lace I will be using for the paint job. This is a lace tablecloth that has an awesome skull and pumpkin motif. I had some other skull lace I wanted to use but couldn’t find. I am happier with this. This lace will be easier to paint with.

Tank is in its first coat of black. It will get two. A gnat and a flake of something fell on them while drying. You want to touch it but you know you will fudge the paint up. It will get its typical wet sand before the second coat is applied and will be removed then.
