    Show me your GOLD! (experiments)

Check out this 1955 Schwinn Headbadge. I had it dipped in real gold. My Chrome guy is a Schwinn Collector and does insane work with Gold. He will do S-2 wheels and every piece is gold.

    Old School Italian BMX

I have no idea on its value but I’m pretty sure it’s worth less than I spent after powder coat. The bike was a little beat up and the cost was low. I paid around $150. The shipping cost from France was pricey. $300 for powder Coat. This stuff is fun. It’s a hobby, not a business for me...

    Old School Italian BMX

I found a very interesting European BMX from 1980. This bike is very unique. I don’t know much about it but I’m interested to hear your feedback. Here is a list of cool features. Btw - I just had it powder coated and I’m waiting for brake cables to complete. Currently I have different bars...

    What's cooking?

At some point they built a small guest house and the grandparents lived there too. Here is the crew’s signatures that are still on the garage floor. The Dogs Kelly and Dale got on the list too. So cool! I love their story and this was an opportunity to tell a bit. Sorry about that.

    What's cooking?

There were incentives in early 60’s for young European people. My in-laws were about 19 and 25. She was a kid but already matured beyond her dude. He signed where she told him to. They landed in Ellis Island. There was options and she selected Canada and then drove down to California...

    What's cooking?

My wife made me Shepard pie yesterday and I ate the rest this morning for bfast. It’s a traditional meal in my wife’s family. Her folks came overseas from England in the 60’s, on The Queen Mary. I didn’t know about Shepherds pie until I met them. O boy it’s good.

I’m curious about your polishing wheel. What kind is it? Do you have any good tips for polishing? I like to do my own polishing. I’m no pro

    Firestone Cruiser Klunker Build

There is a number on the BB but it’s covered in paint. I’ll look closer. The headbadge is cool. It’s black, white and chrome. It cleaned up but I’m not home to post a better picture. I’m sure this badge tells something.

I looked through the thread but didn’t see any more photos. It’s gonna be nice.

    Dead Reckoning

I was looking through all of the Build off Journals to find this photo. I like the your wheel Reflectors on this bike. It must be a Raleigh. I have one of these reflectors on my Schwinn Cruiser. My Klunker Build has a lot of parts from a 1985 Raleigh Elkhorn Mountain Tour and this is...

    Firestone Cruiser Klunker Build

I’ll check. There might have been one on the BB but I sprayed too many coats of paint. Here is the head badge and seat it came with.

I really like the bike and especially the wheel reflectors. Let me know if you want to send them to CA. 😎
