Looking For More Info On Korlis Bikes

Hi! I don't have technical specification for the tubing used, but i strongly believe they made them out of raw steel. Something close to what we would call hi-ten nowadays. Let me know if you would be chasing down some original parts for it. I live in Poland and we've got some here :)

    Murrarium

Well, getting the post up from 11th page of the forum feels like the work is going pretty slow :D But '63 bike is getting ready! Fitted a modern springer fork here, and guess what, 1-1/8 headset fitted perfectly without any modifications. I am planning to restore the bike to maybe not so...

    You in with what?

That yellow beauty i saw on Marktplaats? Great it ended up in good hands! :) Nice, would be a great company to my Good Old Days cruiser! I still have another two or three 346 ladies frames waiting for their turn to undergo a similar modification :)

    You in with what?

Nice! 346 bikes are so nice, glad to have more of them here! I myself am thinking of taking part with the leftover cut frame pieces i have in my workshop. Probably am going to make a stretch cruiser out of them :) Like that head tube, belly tube and bottom bracket from the Electra bike i've cut...

    Dyno gt vfr

That's possibly not what you are after, but i got some parts from mint 2001 Dyno Air for sale left after one of my older build. I have original wheels, seatpost clamp and possibly seat. I think i may also have pegs and grips from this bike, need to check. Let me know if you are interested.

1" threaded to threadless forks-need some help

@ingola i often prefer threadless because of a few reasons. So it may or may not be the best option, depending on what exactly @kdubz954 is trying to achieve. I'd say you'd need to replace your headset. If you are sure you are running 1" there, chances are your frame is using EC33 standard...

    Coaster Hubs and Cog Compatibility

I can fabricate a front sprocket for a wide singlespeed chain easily, but not a narrow-wide chainring. I mean technically i could make a narrow-wide one too, but it would end up to be too expensive comparing to factory made one. I can as well fabricate rear sprocket out of stainless steel. It is...

    Fork Support

There is some room, though not much. Basically you can cut to the depth you can fit your finger in. In my case it was about an inch or two of the thread, but i didn't even cut the whole thread off, and definitely the cut is far away from the weld you see. Remember you still have to leave some...

    Fork Support

Just one detail - the fork on your photo is aluminium. Would be hard to weld on to. The one i used is steel, and in general steel ones are a bit less common.

    Fork Support

This is called monoshock fork. Cannondale Headshock was a first mass marketed product of this kind. Depends on a particular design you may or may not be able to replace the spring yourself. I've used a fork like that to build a custom fork for my electric bike build. Here is the beginning of the...

    Bottom bracket 60s Schwann cruiser

Then a BMX setup may be a good idea, though often these things are more pricey.

    Bottom bracket 60s Schwann cruiser

Any OPC ready BB should work. If talking of cheaper ones i usually use NECO, if i need something special i go for sealed bearings Tioga sets.

    Replace a rear hub cup?

Done that several times, no problem at all. Just make sure your new cup exactly matches the old one. Apart from the fact there are few standards that differ a 0,2mm sometimes there are also flanged and flangeless cups. But if you measure precisely there shouldn't be a problem doing that. If you...

    Bandit Klunker

I charge 15$ for design, shipping should end up around 15 or 20$ for a small sprocket. Manufacturing cost should be around 40$ for a small piece like that. Here are some sprockets I've made a few month ago for @Greg and Sammy . Made of stainless steel, so they won't ever rust and the material is...

I could cut a custom sprocket out of stainless steel for you if you want ;)
