It's a decal I got on Ebay. Got one on the rear too, the bike I mean. I have used pinstripe decals from this seller on some of my other builds. Stick it on, clear coat over it, make the chicks hearts go a-flutter.

Thanks! Wicked is the end goal. Here is a photo of what they will see coming when it busts out of the reformatory.

Front end is assembled. This mish-mash of parts is a tight squeeze everywhere but I have hammers and Channelocks so all is good. I still need to make a wider axle for the tribars but that ain't nothing but a thang.

Definitely plan out where you are going to apply graphite to age paint and mind the wind direction. I bought a large jar for cheap at the local art supply so there will be plenty for post build off experimenting. I want to try some on different colors to see how it looks. I applied it after the...

I dig that headlight, looks a lot like a Bates on vintage Triumphs. I seem to recall the thread when it or one like it was built. A possibility for mounting it could be making an under mounted swan neck from a chrome water supply pipe.

    Rocinante my Krusty Klunker!

Feedback is good but you also have to listen to what the bike itself wants. A lawn chair and cold beverage can go a long way in making build decisions. I'm on the 3rd different build of the frame I'm using because the frame rejected my earlier two attempts.

Thanks! It has been fun and simultaneously aggravating exploring new techniques on this build. I am working on getting it from the IKEA furniture stage to completed bike. I've run into a snag that I'm working out with the rear fender. The Monark frame the fenders came from has forward facing...

A shed would be ideal for me too except I have a lake in my back forty that I am not willing to block the view of. I have my recently converted indoor workshop that I can winter a couple of my bikes in on the one end of the room if needed. I'll probably be selling off my old HD shovelhead soon...

I could get into ten kinds of trouble with that coupe parked in the corner.

I fully support Bicycle Heaven and hope to get to their museum some day. I've gotten quite a few parts from them at what I've considered to be fair prices. Selling these badges as head badges is an honest mistake that would be easy to make, they do look the part. I bought mine from them after all.

That is where I'm at too, too much bike stuff. I'm going to part ways with a few of my complete bikes and make decisions on some buildable frames whether they stay or go. There are a few that are my core group and they stay until I can no longer ride. I should be retired from work in early...

The Arrow tank makes it look like it's launching out of the hole, the Airflow tank makes it look like it's up to speed and going through the traps at the big end. I like the hole shot look.

I'm partial to the bee hive for looks, the shock master for the smooth ride. That didn't help at all I'm sure :headbang:

Badges!?! Badges!?! We don't need no stinking badges..... Or maybe we do. Bicycle Heaven has some rare, NOS, bicycle headbadges at a pretty good price, but are they really? I say no. You see, back in the olden days when gas welding was still a thing, I distinctly recall manufacturer and supplier...

At a minimum, motorcycle RH controls would have an engine kill switch. Probably was for a single ground wire to the ignition coil.

I have a couple more small parts left to give a smear job and then the remainder of the jar is going into a heavy ziplock bag and stored on a low shelf. The thought of this escaping into the wilds of my garage is frightening.

During non-snow months my truck can stay outside but when winter comes it will be in the garage. I'm going to have to get creative on bike storage this upcoming winter as my fleet is 3+ from last year and it was already a tight squeeze then.
