    I have a 1950 Hornet, but want to install a modern headset w/ sealed bearings, and doing so the cups have a lager stack height then the old school loose ball headsets. I really would like to retain the truss rod look also. Tim

    Is the one you purchased silver? The silver one is for a Falcon freewheel, you need the black one Park FR-1 it is slightly smaller. Hope this helps. Tim

    try a piece that you have trimmed off an 1 1/8" threadless fork. Then cut a vertical slit in it.

    I have a small collection of Chris King headsets (10+). I love them , just hate the cost. For some reason I was thinking the "Hornet" had like a 34 mm headtube. I guess I will figure it out Saturday when the mailman busts a nut putting the box on my porch. Tim
